In buying David’s artwork, you’re not only helping the artist to continue creating new work, you’re also funding a series of not-for-profit environmental projects, including: A La Luz, Points of Return, The Sea from Here, 500 Years and Where Once the Waters. Galleries & Delivery

In the UK, The Scottish Gallery, Tatha Gallery & Moncrieff-Bray Gallery hold a permanent stock of David’s work, with selected pieces available for online purchase. Other galleries will list works for sale only during exhibitions. Whether purchased via a gallery or the studio, artworks can be sent internationally.

Matchboxes

A new set of miniature seascapes created using recycled wood and Scottish Bluebell branded matchboxes in a variety of vintages, collected over the last few years. More can be seen on this page.

Watercolours

Six artworks now back in the studio after being out on display. These works epitomise Cass’ artistic style, painted in gouache onto functional vintage household objects, found at flea markets and antique shops around Europe.

Thames Letters

A rare opportunity to purchase work from David’s letter series. In this set, four individuals – born in or near London – are informed of the effects of sea level rise on the River Thames across their lifetimes. Selected for exhibition during last year’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, they’re now back in the studio and available for purchase. They’re part of a larger project addressing hundreds of individuals around the world. The sale of this set will fund new not-for-profit environmental artwork. The buyer will also be given the opportunity to have their own letter typed, included in the price, in consultation with the artist.

You can now order Where Once the Waters online. This large (222 page) volume was created as a place to compile not only images of the exhibition in Venice, but also the artist’s research and creation processes. Rising Horizon, published by The Scottish Gallery in 2019, was produced to accompany an exhibition of the same name. These last months have also seen David’s work featured within and upon a variety of publications: in the RSA’s coffee-table book Andiamo; in St Jude’s journal Oscillations; in Field’s issue Twos; upon Claudia Roden’s Med cover (The Times & Sunday Times Food Book of the Year 2021); and in Out of the Box, a new book celebrating contemporary box-art.
