The majority of sales are made during exhibitions through the relevant gallery. Private sales are also welcomed through direct contact with David: firstname.lastname@example.org. The artist keeps a stock of available pieces not tied to active exhibitions. Commissioning work is also a popular option.
Below, browse through a selection of artworks that take the form of studies and location sketches, but also pieces from past series' and works of a one-off or experimental nature. Each of these works carry the gift of safe, clean water for one person – for life – through the incredible work of charity:water. Nobody on earth should die from dirty water. 663 million people in the world live without clean water – that’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide.
This work describes a simplified Aiguille de Borderan, just outside of La Clusaz in southern France. Painted from a makeshift studio in the neighbouring town of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, this gouache work has been made from the base of an early 1900s coffee-grinder's drawer, purchased at a nearby flea-market. Thus making the work site-specific.
Cass' mountain series employs a similar layering technique to that of his seascape works, and like those, it also carries a donation to charity:water.

Wherever Cass travels, he makes sure to spend as much time at the coast as possible. Here are a few seascape examples. Created in Croatia, France, Italy, Spain. These sketches are unframed and are not created for the purpose of exhibition: their price reflects that. Each gives clean and safe water for one person, through the work of the incredible charity: water. In the past these postcards have also carried donations to the Marine Conservation Society.
A set of 5 small one-off Paris in flood watercolours on antique card. Ranging from 16 x 12 cm to 18 x 23 cm. The set would benefit from framing and this price reflects that. If you would prefer one only please make direct contact via email: email@example.com. If purchasing the set online, a donation will be made to charity: water.
For £350, David Cass will create for you a small seascape. The images here are purely for illustrative purposes, but the aesthetic will be similar. Your seascape will be in gouache, on an antique wooden surface, up to a maximum of 35 x 35cms. Each commission carries the gift of clean and safe water for people in need, for life, through the incredible work of charity: water.
